The Maxi-Dash is an annual race which first took place in 1975 but hasn’t run for 5 years. The aim is to climb as much as possible in at least 3 different crags around Nairobi. The teams all start at 6am and end at 18:45 pm in Hell’s Gate.
During the race, climbing, all teams should be self sufficient in terms of water, food, communication and transportation.
There are 3 categories of teams by climbing ability, each with its own winner.
