SUMMARY:Rope Rescue Skills and Beginners Climb weekend
DESCRIPTION:Beginners climbing and rope skills training weekend planned for
  the 29/30 Sept at Lukenya.\n\nSat 29th Sept\nBasic rope rescue skills\n- 
 Tying off and escaping a belay\n- Prussiking up a rope\n- Setting up a bas
 ic pulley system\nThe main idea for this is to experiment different system
 s and share skills/knowledge.\nWe can also run scenarios if time/participa
 nts/guinea pigs permit\n\nCamping and party/BBQ at the top campsite\n\nSun
  30th Sept\nSetting up 4-6 top ropes for beginners and teaching them basic
 s of climbing (wearing a harness\, tying in\, belaying etc). This will sta
 rt from 9 or 10am - to be confirmed later.\n\nPlease sign up on this link

 cue are needed. - Please sign up on the sheet\n\nFor Sunday - any climbers
  who can setup top ropes are very welcome. If you are a climber who can be
 lay this is a great chance to learn setting up anchors. Also helpers will 
 be rewarded with a trad teaching climbing weekend later in Oct.\n\nAll mem
 bers/guests are welcome to camp out on Saturday night. Lukenya is great fo
