I am trying to set up a team for running the 1/2 marathon in Lewa Conservancy (safaricom marathon).

Some details:

Date: 26 June 2010, start 07h15 (race briefing on june 25th, 18h00)
Location: Lewa Conservancy
Distance: Half marathon (21km)
Team: can be made up of min 5, max 10 people (it is the first 4 that pass the finish line that count for results)
Entry fee: 100'000Ksh per team so the more we are in team, the less we pay each
Fundraising: the main objective of this event is to raise funds. So we should each aim to raise Ksh 50'000 at least

Hi Seline! I was reading about it yesterday and was wondering were to get a team from! I would like to join your team. I'm not the most active runner but i do the 10km charity runs sometimes - composed running plus walking :-) and honestly i am very keen on running Lewa this year somehow by the grace of God i will make that 21km :-) count me in, please email me on nkinyanjui@gmail.com just incase i forget to log back into the forum during your planning stages.
