Seema, the best way to meet climbers is to attend the MCK Tuesday night meeting and jump on the bouldering wall with the rest of the crag rats. This evening is pot-luck supper night and quiz. Bring a dish and dinner is free, otherwise the charge is sh400. Quiz is about all things outdoors Kenya, I have not been to one but I'm told they are good fun. If you do not have your climbing shoes, not a problem, we have plenty of loaners. Let me know if you are staying in the Westlands area and I can give you a ride. Jim jcunningham123@gmail.com

Hi - thanks for replying James! I only arrived in kenya on Weds, and I leave on Sunday, so couldnt make the Tuesday night meeting unfortunately ...
But if you know anyone heading out this weekend who wouldnt mind picking up a stray UK climber for the day, then that would be awesome .. fingers crossed :-)

Hi -
I'll be in Kenya next week and would love to go climbing at the weekend if at all possible (it has been freezing in the UK this winter and I'd love to get on some hot rock ... it would be a shame to miss the opportunity!). I'm keen to check out Lukenya or one of the other local crags near Nairobi, in fact I'd be very happy to tag along with any party that is going anywhere that weekend!
If anybody is or knows anybody who is keen to climb, then please let me know.
Thanks
Seema
