I will be in Nairobi for 5 weeks starting Feb 12. I just found this forum and wonder if there is a way to find folks willing to show a vistor around the crags. If so, I could bring my shoes and harness. I've been climbing for 20 years or so, everything from crags, big walls, ice and mountains.

Susan, the best way to meet climbers is to attend the MCK Tuesday night meeting and jump on the bouldering wall with the rest of the crag rats. This evening is pot-luck supper night and quiz. Bring a dish and dinner is free, otherwise the charge is sh400. Quiz is about all things outdoors Kenya, I have not been to one but I'm told they are good fun. If you do not have your climbing shoes, not a problem, we have plenty of loaners. Let me know if you are staying in the Westlands area and I can give you a ride. Go Huskies, Jim
