   Unfortunately Kenya does not have many stores for specialized outdoor gear. The stores which do stock gear are "Atuls" on Biashara Street, Nairobi City (tel: 228064 or 225935), X-treme Outdoor Ltd at Yaya Centre, Hurlingham, Nairobi Suburbs (tel: 2722224). Closer to the mountain, gear can be hired from the Mt. Kenya Guides and Porters Safari Club or Naro Moru River Lodge orKG Mountain Expeditions or North West Expeditions.
